Seagate opened a new Design Centre in Buona Vista in 2015 and sought to commission 3 sculptures for their premises.

"People" was created by Florence, embodying Seagate's values of innovation, people and teamwork as brought out by the brilliant colors and of the modern material of glass. 

​

The concept behind People was inspired by the idea that despite contemporary reliance on technolog, it is still human relationships which drive any organisation.

The result was a four metre-high blown glass and cast concrete sculpture designed to remind the viewer of people in conversation.
