Nostalgia, created by Florence Ng in 2023, is a vibrant and playful installation located at One Holland Village. The piece pays homage to Singapore’s iconic old playgrounds, bringing back cherished memories of structures like the Watermelon Playground in Tampines, the Pelican Playground in Dover, the Dragon Playground in Toa Payoh, and the Elephant Playground in Pasir Ris.

This Lego-inspired artwork reinterprets familiar playground motifs, celebrating a time when sandpits and whimsical designs captured the imagination of children. Nostalgia invites both new generations and those who grew up with these landmarks to reflect on how urban spaces have evolved while honoring the joyful simplicity that defined childhood play.

The installation offers a contemporary tribute to the beloved playgrounds of Singapore’s past, encouraging everyone to connect with the collective memory and shared experiences that shaped the city's unique cultural landscape.
